Heritage Park Play Island In Cerritos, CA

Folks with children are always interested in feeding their imagination and keeping them active. With most of today’s past-times being electronic such as the Game Boy, Xbox, Playstation, computers, iPads, and iPhones, it is important to get your children out and about. Did you know that there is such a thing as negative and positive ions in the atmosphere that can affect your mood? Positive ions are unhealthy for your mind and body and are associated with electronics and being indoors. Negative ions, on the other hand, calm you, lift your spirits, and make you feel good and are found outdoors, especially near water.  Let your kids experience the benefits of negative ions while enjoying Heritage Park Play Island in Cerritos, CA.

The Play Island is available for exercise and exploration Monday through Friday from 10am to dusk; Tuesday from 2pm to dusk; and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to dusk. The themed play structure built in the architectural style of a town square in early America is located on an island with a moat. Within the play structure’s buildings there are jungle gyms, slides, and more. Your kids can climb through attics, run across rooftop walkways, and slide down a tunnel at the top of the play structure church, and don’t let them miss the pirate ship and concrete canoe.
