While it does require a short drive about an hour away to San Dimas, the artwork and experience are definitely worth it. Actually, an Artists Reception is being held this evening, if you’re so inclined, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner while learning about the intricate artwork created by this month’s artists; Renee L. Matter and Kathleen McCall. The original Victorian-style house that holds the 2nd Story Gallery has an inspiring atmosphere with its stained glass windows and beautiful woodwork.
About The Event
San Dimas Festival of Arts holds a “2nd Story Gallery” each month featuring two artists every time. During the evening, you can tour the gallery and view some of the most creative pieces of art ever made. Not only are they available for purchase, but 2nd Story Gallery brings the artists and their fans together, giving you the opportunity to meet and learn from the artists behind such amazing collection pieces. By pairing Matter and McCall together, fans will be able to enjoy a wide range of work from inspiring paintings of memories in nature to unique 3D artwork made out of recycled materials. You won’t want to miss these masterpieces.
